my son owns a number of HABA toys. this one is by far the favorite. each block has an interesting shape and a unique feature - rattle, mirror, kaleidoscope that makes for hours of fun. all of this made from wood and cloth, not plastic.

I purchased this toy for my ten month baby. She loves being able to put the blocks inside without using the shape sorter just by opening the basket. I love this toy also because the blocks match the other block from Haba we already have.

Not Great As A Shape Sorter!

This is a nice toy, and the blocks are fun and interesting. However, I just don't find it to be educational as a shape sorter. The problem is that the sorter is made of cloth and the cutout holes are not very true to shape. The blocks don't fit in with ease. If I had it to do again I would get one of the wooden sorters that Haba makes.
