Not so many pieces that it's a major project to put away and the sturdy box serves as a convenient storage box. The colors are bright and the blocks are smooth, with rounded-off edges to keep them safe. These blocks are tiny and not what I was expecting, but my 2 year old still loves to play with them, so I'm not going to give it a bad review.
